Sibel is a Professional Certified Coach through International Coach Federation (ICF) and Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and holds CPCC and PCC designations. She is also an ICF registered Mentor Coach.
Sibel brings over 20 years of experience and wealth of resources derived from her extensive education and training to each client. Her travels around the globe, genuine curiosity and love of diversity enable her to connect with people from all walks of life.
Sibel earned her Ph.D. in Biological Sciences, M.S. in Food Science and Nutrition and B.S. in Food Engineering. She graduated ranking #1 in the entire school of engineering, received several academic and leadership awards and was given the honor of delivering the commencement speech.
After earning her Ph.D., Sibel worked at a global food company with headquarters in NJ, as a Project Supervisor. Within her tenure there, she was awarded one individual and two team innovation awards as well as the prestigious kernel of quality award for bringing different departments together for the common goal of enrolling and serving a new client base.
Although Sibel enjoyed utilizing her strong analytical mind and problem solving skills in science/engineering environment, she also clearly saw that her heart’s vision was to work directly with people and help individuals clarify their strengths, values, goals and purpose in life; activate their Within Leader so that they can take confident steps towards leading successful careers and fulfilling lives. To accomplish that vision, she went back to school and received her coaching credentials. This was over a decade ago. Sibel is also trained in CTI’s Multi-dimensional Leadership Model and Brene Brown’s Daring Way Model.
Sibel’s magic touch is her calm, deep listening coupled with her sharp intellect. When she listens, you get a wonderful sense of being heard and seen. Her non-judgmental style and compassion let her look at things right in the eye and ask tough questions. Doing so, she inspires her clients to live with a wonderful sense of clarity and purpose.
Sibel is an active member of ICF, ICFNE and CTI and passionate about contributing to her communities. As such, she provides pro-bono coaching to Massachusetts Conference for Women participants (since 2012), participates in community coaching programs to create public awareness, and routinely mentors young people in graduate schools and/or at the start of their careers.
She lives in Lexington, MA with her husband of 24 years, their teenage daughter and golden doodle, with gratitude and joy.
